Why so many people in our world today they feel intimidated or even threatened by the person of Jesus why so many people prefer that her story is a myth among other ?
R / Jesus challenges us and forces us to confront our sinfulness and seek His forgiveness and mercy. The name and person of Jesus often amount to "moral life" to the ears of someone who has no faith. Thus, his message is often denied before it is heard. Jesus calls us to conversion-conforming our lives to God's will rather than ours. Jesus asks us to make radical choices: God's ways or paths "world"; faith in Him and faith in ourselves. This is an affront to our way of "modern" thinking, in our materialistic culture, who prefers to celebrate ambiguous concepts like "tolerance" and "individualism" at the expense of "truth." In such a society, the message of the gospel seem deeply cons-cultural, perhaps even threatening. This is why many people would like that this is only a legend because as a real person, Jesus and his message will inevitably challenge.
