1. Remember, you are a son (or daughter) of the Orthodox Church. These are not empty words. Remember the commitment that implies.

2. Earthly life is ephemeral: it is hardly aware of how quickly it flows. However, this transitory life determines the eternal destiny of your soul. Do not forget a moment.

3. Try to live a godly life. Pray God to church, pray to God at home - with fervor, faith, trusting God's will. Apply the saints and saving precepts of the Church, its rules and commandments. Outside the Church, apart from the obedience due to him, there is no salvation.
