Fontenay-le-Comte No. 1040: John Paul II, wake up! The Blog of Pastor

It is not my habit to question people, or the future of the world! However, when I hear the fear reactions of a number of Catholics in relation to Islam, I think that the devil must be rubbing their hands! Those in some spheres, political or others, continue to equate Islam with terrorists who claim to be Muslims, have served their purpose well: dump of Islam at its best, and thus, by extension, religions oppose them to get them to fight and hate each other. As for how the media has gradually built a negative image of Islam, showing that no deviations, no give to see that the vast majority of Muslims are people like you and me, they are came rolling in flour many Catholics, too credulous and too naive. As noted sadly
Frederic Lenoir, philosopher and historian religions in the newspaper "Ouest-France on Tuesday," Islam is scary. Catholicism stiffened. "John Paul II must be turning in his grave with indignation, he who had invited all Catholics to watch this world with love, including its Muslim dimension in its best , through his evangelical appeal that we all remember: "Do not be afraid!" Dear John Paul II, wake up! They went crazy! They forget the magnificent promises hope of the Gospel! Naively, they believe anything and trust the sad words of anyone! They doubt the dimension of humanity that still exists and always against all odds, among many Muslims, atheists, Buddhists or others. They allow themselves to interfere in mind and heart by negative messages whose sole purpose is to break the brotherhood between people of good will and religions in that they were bigger. While criticizing those who criticize the Catholic Inquisition and the Crusades, they confuse their own Islam and terrorism! Some evidence
lived:
- Cardinal Emmanuel III, patriarch of the Chaldean Church in Baghdad, at the funeral of murdered Christians to November 2010: "We are the son of this country and stay in Iraq, hand in hand with our Muslim brothers. "
- Archbishop Vincent Landel, Archbishop of Rabat, president of the Episcopal Conference of North Africa: "In Europe aujoiurd'hui, considering that all Christians in Muslim countries are being persecuted. This is not true. There are only small groups who fight the Christians, but not the majority with which we maintain a positive relationship of exchange and work. "
- Churches of Pakistan held Sunday, January 30th a day of prayer and fasting, which is associated by many Muslims.
- January 12, a small gathering of many Muslim leaders in France said "Islam is also being murdered while committing these crimes on its behalf."
- On Facebook, Egypt, a group calling on Muslims to gather outside churches on Christmas Eve 2010 to serve as "human shields" gathered more than 17,000 members. "
And there are many more examples!
"What do you fear, ye of little faith?" (Matthew 8 / 26)
